Motul factory line racing brake fluid

  • RBF 660 Factory line
  • DOT 4
  • 500 ml

Developed for racing application. With a higher boiling point compared to normal DOT 4 brake fluid. The higher boiling point prevents brake fade and is therefore an essential part of any racing brake setup.

Background information

With the optimal braking temperature of racing brake pads being around 300°C, this heat will slowly transfer into the fluid. Normal Motul DOT4 has a boiling point around 245°C, lower than the brake pad temperature. This results in brake fade which is extremely risky.

Technical specs:

  • Typical dry boiling point: 325°C (617°F)
  • Typical wet boiling points: 205°C (401°F)
